Really,
really, nice sense of scale early on in
the show in the pan up from a kneeling Spike to
Prime's torso.
Why
aren't the humans affected by the acid
rain on Cybertron?
As
a means of stopping Autobot resistance, taking
out Optimus Prime seems to be a fantastically
effective strategy, because when the Decepticons
attack the Ark near the end of the episode the
Autobots just stand there! Including Prowl,
and isn't he supposed to be a master strategist?
One would expect that even in shock he should
be able to come up with something even as basic
as "Go out there and shoot them." For
all the flack Ultra Magnus gets, at least after
Prime died in the movie he was able to come up
with something of a plan, even if it was just
"Get on the shuttles and run away."
Which, quite frankly, when you're outnumbered,
outgunned, and have no defenses left, is not a
bad idea. Grief has its place and all, but not
when it gets you killed.
