Enter the Nightbird

Plot Summary:

A human scientist, Dr. Fujiyama, has created a ninja robot, Nightbird, and invites the Autobots to the unveiling ceremony. At the ceremony, the Decepticons attack and steal the robot. Prime vows that he will bring Nightbird back unharmed, and unexpectedly finds her at the Ark where she has been sent by the Decepticons to steal the World Energy Chip from Teletran-1.

Best Dialogue:

Megatron: "I bring you greetings, Optimus Prime! Lethal greetings!"

Megatron: "Mirage! Prepare to disappear—permanently!"

(as Nightbird has cutter blades on her wrists)
Optimus: "Don't harm her!"
Jazz: "...and definitely don't shake hands!"

Watch For...

Cliffjumper, ironically, misses the cliff.

Starscream's little Nerf dart.

Starscream with blue optics after escaping from the energy cage.

Comments:

Wheeljack and Ratchet have about as much respect for Fujiyama's robot as they did for Autobot X.

Why are all the Autobots inside the building instead of outside watching for Decepticons?

The Decepticon's temporary base is not very discreet.

It's unusual to see Bombshell without the other Insecticons, but having him work on Nightbird is in character.

Cliffjumper has that weird manic edge from Traitor again.
