Megatron's
Master Plan Part 2
|
|
Plot
Summary:
|
 |
Following
the expulsion of the Autobots from Earth, Megatron
re-programs their ship to a course that will steer
them into the sun, then begins to enact his plan
to take over the Earth, beginning with the city
that sentenced his enemies. The human population
is forced to work in Decepticon power plants,
producing energon cubes. All attempts by the human
military to lift Decepticon rule fail. During
an aborted revolt attempt, Chip Chase manages
to escape the plant and secrets himself in the
trailer of an outbound semi. He manages to gain
access to the Ark, and tries to override Megatron's
course settings, only to be recaptured by Thrust
before he can succeed in doing more than breaking
Teletran's control over Cosmos, who was towing
the Autobot ship. Chip sees the Autobot ship destroyed
in the sun on one of Teletran-1's monitors, and
breaks the news to the other humans at the power
plant. They believe hope is lost. However, the
Autobots abandoned the ship before its destruction,
and Trailbreaker protected them with a force field
which Cosmos towed back to Earth, and they are
able to successfully free the city from Decepticon
control. Spike is finally able to prove their
innocence, the sentence is overturned, and Berger
is arrested.

The
Decepticon blimp in the background during the

There

Comments:
|
 |
This
is the second time that, due to a Decepticon laser
blast, the Autobots get a new lease on life. (Starscream
shooting at the mountain in "More
Than Meets the Eye" knocked Prime
into the repair beam.)
