The Autobot Run

Plot Summary:

The Autobots decide to hold a race with the proceeds going to charity, and are ambushed by the Decepticons, who freeze them in their vehicle forms using a device called the Transfixatron. (Basically the Decepticon Immobilizer show. Hey, they had enough time to study the technology.)

Watch For...

Starscream with freakishly large hands.

Shockwave on Earth. Laughing. Twice.

The Transfixatron, which Megatron initially had to pick up off the ground to fire at Starscream, suddenly develops a hinge.

Who or what in the great blue heck is that first Transformers Teletran shows Chip? Switzertron? It looks like the bastard offspring of Optimus Prime, Sunstreaker, and Tracks. Seriously! I'd post screen captures if I could bring myself to sit through this again.

G.I. Joe segue music during the second commercial bumper.

Thundercracker and Skywarp in the sky, then two Thundercrackers in frame together. One of the Thundercrackers teleports and reappears as Starscream.

The Autobots just APPEAR as they're being de-Transfixed.

Why does Wheeljack stay behind during the race? He is a race car!

This episode has worse animation than The Core and City of Steel combined. There's just no way to be nice about it.
