Plot
Summary:
|
 |
Autobot architect Grapple has
designed a Solar Power Tower that would cleanly
and efficiently produce all the energy that the
Autobots need. However, without a plan of defense
to go with the proposed energy plant, Optimus
Prime vetoes its construction. On their way back
from repairing a damaged Powerglide, Hoist and
Grapple are trapped in a canyon by the Constructicons,
who offer to help Grapple build his Tower, allegedly
without Megatron's knowledge. Once the Tower is
completed, however, the Constructicons turn on
their Autobot 'allies' and hand the Tower over
to Megatron.

The rocks in the canyon scene.
They almost look photorealistic.

Comments:

Either the Constructicons really
did plan to hand the Tower over to Megatron all
along, or they thought really fast!
Hoist and Grapple just disappear
from the Ark for an unknown amount of time and
no one notices? I'm sure they were gone for more
than one day to get all that work done on the
Tower, even given that they could have left the
plans with the Constructicons.
