The atom-like structure seen here is the final product of a Strata 3D tutorial done in class, to familiarize students with working with X, Y, and Z co-ordinates. The background and textures were added afterwards, all pre-existing options in the Strata program.

The final project at McKenzie College in the 3D segment was to create a small scene. The lampshade is the atom from a previous tutorial, with the center ball's texture changed to Clear Glass and a light placed inside it. The lamp itself, wineglasses, bottle, plant pot, stool and table legs were all created from pathways imported from Adobe Illustrator, then 'lathed' in Strata to create a three-dimensional object.
